The Chicago Salon began in 2002 as a means for a group of like-minded artists to connect and engage as they create and pursue their individual artistic direction. Regular Salon meetings provide forums for members to share their artistic progress and challenges. These discussions spur creativity and facilitate synergy that is often absent and sometimes vexing when working in isolation.
Group critiques are used to challenge the artists creative vision in ways that not only explain and help define intention, but also act as a means of clarifying and clearing their own personal artistic path.
